We see the scene of Jesus being laid in the tomb, beautifully painted in a Victorian emulation of early Renaissance style, a German inscription on the frame describing the event. Some craquelure.
Measures 19 1/4" x 26", and the finely carved frame is 26" x 32 1/2".
